Eco-Luxe- June 2008Unfortunately, most ecologically conscious designs tend to be aesthetically boring. Eco-conscious objects are typically stripped down to their "ethical essentials" and relatively uninspiring from an aesthetic point of view. Eco-Luxe was designed to demonstrate that eco-consciousness could also be seductively luxurious and decadent. Antique brass on carbon steel, hand-tooled stingray and bison fender, seat and grips, pedal power with coaster brake. |
